History
Pierce Bros. Repair was founded by Gene Pierce.  The young business opened its doors in 1958 as a blacksmith shop with only two forges. In those days, they didn't even have an acetylene torch.  Instead a carbide torch (the predecessor to the blow-torch) was used.  From humble beginnings, Pierce Bros. Repair grew into a successful business and welding facility.
Kurt Wells,  the current owner of Pierce Bros. Repair, used to work at Pierce Bros. Repair under Gene Pierce.  Kurt has always had an interest in welding; and after 12 years of working in the business he decided to make his dream of owning his own welding shop a reality.  He bought the current Pierce Bros. location in 1972 from Gene Pierce
